Following a brief hiatus while new contract terms were ironed out, we once again have official support for Redshift on our GPU farm. This also gave us the ability to update to a much newer build than we previously had deployed, so that’s good news for those that like to run on the latest and greatest Redshift code. Redshift 2.5.54 is deployed in all of our Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max, and Maya instances.
Those paying close attention will notice that we have added a percentage fee for use of Redshift, similar to how we have always charged for V-Ray. This fee is to offset the cost of supporting that software, as it is notably more expensive to deploy and operate. Our extremely low GPU charge rates keep overall costs at bay, however.
