We just released an update for the Mac agent today, with the Windows agent being released last week. The new agent gets rid of the sometimes-confusing agent menu, and instead centralizes all tasks in a tabbed window. There are some new features added as well, like display of Project Cache costs, the addition of the “Processor” column and “GPU farm load” graph in prep for us to release GPU rendering, and many functions under the hood. We hope this platform will enable us to continue to bring more new features to the agent, like job history storage, fully automatic project caching, and more.
These agents are a result of the efforts of a new member of our team, Son of Superdev. We’re happy to have him on board, bringing his years of game and GUI programming experience to bear on our service.
Stay tuned for more updates!
