Mac fans rejoice as Pixel Plow launches their first OSX-native agent
That’s right, we now have native agents for both Windows and Mac OSX. Our core devs (give ’em a hand) have been working feverishly over the past few weeks completing the process that we knew we would have to tackle eventually. Their hard work is paying off now that our client-side codebase is written entirely in a cross-platform language.
Installation of the Mac client is easy, just download and copy to your Applications folder. Upon launching the app, you’ll be asked for your agent ID. That’s all you need to fill in for the program to start running. Icons in the Finder bar and Dock both show a simple menu with the same options as our Windows agent. We’re keeping the feature set the same between both platforms, so transition from one to the other should be easy.
