That’s exactly what a render farm needs to stay…ahem…regular. We added a second 1Gbps fiber Internet connection to the farm a few weeks ago. It’s been working quite well. Recent agent releases (1.90 and up) will automatically failover to our second connection if the first is unresponsive for whatever reason. No need for you to do anything, just let our software handle those pesky Internet routing anomalies for you. Reliable and expedient data transfer have been a recent focus of ours. We’re making more improvements as this post is typed. Stay tuned!
